Large Enterprise Regional Sales Manager (RSM) - Chicago



Responsible for managing an outside sales force (AE's) selling to named accounts within Dell's Large Enterprise segment with the specific focus of leveraging Dell's partners. Responsible for creating a regional sales plan and achieving the financial metrics within the region . Motivates personnel to sell products and services through effective management of sales incentive, career development, reporting mechanisms and one-on-one coaching.



Attain targeted sales goals and performance through the effective management of the daily operations of the sales force. Analyze various sales , finance and marketing data to determine buyer/buying influences and project sales to establish quotas. Interact with Sales VP's, Sales Directors and Sales Managers in the Segment on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis to drive specific sales goals, tactics, strategies and initiatives. Participate and close large sales opportunities with sales representatives and account executives. Provide management by establishing goals and objectives, assigning tasks and reviewing work frequently. Communicate to marketing what type of programs, promotions, and collateral are needed to drive the program.
Skills

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, services and peripherals. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and presentation skills. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience. Must have experience managing an outside sales force. Must be based in the territory specified (Chicago).
