Facebook seeks an experienced, highly motivated attorney to serve as Director and Associate General Counsel on the Litigation team. The position will be responsible for managing Facebook’s litigation docket in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. This is a unique opportunity to work on novel issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment. This position will be based either in Menlo Park or San Francisco, CA.
Drive strategy and execution on litigation in the United States, Canada, and Latin America
Build and manage a team of experienced litigators
Work cross-functionally with Facebook teams on litigation strategy and related legal matters
Oversee outside counsel relationships
Minimum Qualifications
JD with membership in at least one state bar
12+ years of legal experience
Trial and appellate experience
Demonstrated experience thinking strategically to solve legal challenges
Experience with privacy, securities, intermediary liability, antitrust, and/or class actions
Preferred qualifications
Experience working on international litigation matters
Managerial experience
Team player who enjoys building relationships and working with others
