Director Strategic Marketing Operations Qlik Newton

Qlik is looking for dynamic, highly motivated Director of Strategic Marketing Operations who will be responsible for helping driving execution across the Strategic Marketing team. The Strategic Marketing function comprises Qlik’s product and developer marketing, competitive and market intelligence, demo and innovation teams. Reporting to the VP of Global Strategic Marketing, the Director of Strategic Marketing Operations will lead a small team focused on increasing the efficiency and effectiveness across the full range strategic marketing initiatives at Qlik. From product launch co-ordination, sales play design and execution to content and messaging strategy and key event support, the team delivers results that help propel our business forward but always balance the focus on the tactical needs with the long term strategic efforts of the organization.
How you will spend your time as our next Director of Strategic Marketing Operations
Evolve and execute against the 2018 product and strategic marketing team plan and goals
Initiate, guide and support strategic cross-functional initiatives and activities, ensuring that stakeholders across the organization are aligned and work efficiently together to drive go-to-market programs for Qlik solutions
Initiate, guide and support initiatives focused on ensuring that the Qlik Global Product Marketing subject matter experts can scale
Empower our field, partners, prospects and customers with the Product and Strategic Marketing driven resources they need to succeed with Qlik
Own and manage our global user conference content strategy
Oversee the design and build of key sales plays working with SMEs, sales and regional marketing teams
Manage and co-ordinate our product launch processes
Efficiently manage product and strategic marketing program and travel budget
Manage a team of 2 motivated professionals based between NA and EMEA.

Business acumen - Able to quickly understand the business, it’s issues, take ownership and develop and execute a strategy with the team that positively transforms the business and drives operational excellence and increased revenues
Ability to nurture innovation and create an environment that encourages creativity and positive risk taking.
You will thrive if you are
Bachelor equivalent mandatory
10+ years’ experience in BI and analytics industry (required) in product / strategic marketing– cloud experience advantageous
Experience in a high-profile position, responsible for helping guide execution
Experience of leading high performing teams
Mobility - 15% including international travel time as required
