As the head of the APAC Market Finance department you will be partnering with Business Units/ Market Groups leaders and their organizations in creating strategies and execution of Consumer, Shopper and Customer centered activities in the markets, facilitating financial planning including prioritization and trade offs, analyzing performance drivers and delivery against financial and non-financial objectives
The role will collaborate with a vast network of stakeholders, including Market Groups SVP, Market Groups Central and Business Unit Leaders, Corporate Finance and other Finance Leaders in regional and central organizations. The candidate will report to Finance SVP and will be located in Singapore.
Your specific tasks include:
• Being a people leader as well as a strong contributor to the Finance function
• Long and Short term Business planning (incl. strategic prioritization of opportunities)
• Monthly reporting and estimate process
• Setting financial direction, and providing financial insights to understand current performance and drive the right business decisions
• Evaluation of investment decisions, and prioritization of resource allocation, with a view towards the overall LEGO objectives
• Secure financial awareness, governance and transparency in the business incl. focus on risk management and compliance

The main challenges in this role will be to contribute effectively at strategic as well as operational level; prioritize among short and long term objectives and balance between top-, bottom line and cash considerations. At the same time it is an opportunity to influence strategic and operational business decisions for the region and BU with high independence and accountability for decision making and results delivery, combined with people leadership and development.
Do you have what it takes?
• 8 to 10 years of finance experience, at least 5 of which are in a business partnering capacity; ideally with international experience from another MNC
• Strong business & analytical skills evidenced by prior experience
• Effective communication and influencing skills
• Global, multicultural mindset and high collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Desire to learn, innovate and constructively challenge status quo
• Strong history of achievements and career progression
• Flexibility to travel internationally/globally (~40 days a year)
• Experience in working in a fast pace developing economy is preferred
