Analytics Architecture Director Honeywell Morris Plains

As an Analytics Solution Architect / Business Engagement Manager, you would be responsible for engaging business leaders across the supply chain, pricing, finance & other business functions to identify opportunities where we could leverage data & analytics to deliver value and enable their strategies. Working closely with the business SMEs, you will capture critical requirements, problem statement, establish project scope and deliverables. Using your expertise in data analytics and business consulting, you will convert business problems into analytics requirements for the data science teams. You will also be involved in leading complex analytics initiatives focused on building new predictive analytics capabilities that deliver customer and business value. You will lead cross-functional analytics teams from project inception to analytics delivery.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Predictive Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Mathematics, MBA with Technical Undergrad, Operations Research, Quantitative Finance, or equivalent.
3 years of experience in Data Science, Six Sigma or related role delivering advanced analytics solutions, with a background in data mining, statistics or similar technical fields.
3 years experience with statistical packages and applications (such as Python, R, SAS, SPSS, STATA, and Matlab) and deep knowledge of modeling and business analytics techniques.
5 years of Experience in technology or management consulting, change management, or Program management and have demonstrated the ability to lead complex engagements, in addition to the person influencing the delivery of complex, large-scale business-driven technology solutions to senior executives.
WE VALUE
Experience in data architecture, data management, and data warehouse and/or Hadoop environments is highly desired.
Ability to understand business problems and a passion for applying technology solutions, and leveraging technology trends, to deliver results.
Proven ability to work closely with a multitude of organizations (frequently geographically distributed) to deliver presentations and project tasks
Expertise in Agile Methodology
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting ability.
Experience working with remote and global teams in a matrix organization
Experience in Manufacturing Industry
Customer focus and process discipline with excellent collaboration skill.
Results driven with a positive can-do attitude
Travel up to 30%
Database experience (including SQL, procedural SQL and ETL) in relational database environments
Experience with distributed computing platforms, such as Hadoop, and associated technologies such as MapReduce, and Hive would be advantageous
