The Sales Director will lead a dynamic and experienced sales organisation This role will be report to the General Manager of Power Generation.The Sales Director will be responsible for leading sales growth and overall sales performance of the South Pacific business.
Lead, coach and develop the sales organisation
Consistently deliver results by meeting and/or exceeding sales targets
Manage up to 15 direct and indirect reports
Manage sales pipeline and customers’ accounts
Responsible for meeting KPI’s as well as accurate reporting and forecasting
Implement sales strategies and objectives
Coach, develop and engage staff
Often the Sales Director will be required to travelto meet key customers and business leaders in order to build and maintain relationships with them. (estimated 40% of travel )
About you
Proven sales leadership within a global business
Proven people management and interpersonal skills
Experience in a sales leadership role in a similar industry (8-10 years’ experience)
Results orientated, self-motivated and resilient
A proactive and can-do attitude
The proven ability to work autonomously and lead a team to achieve targets
