The Director will lead processing engagements with focus on network-based solutions for business opportunities
and regulatory requirements. We are looking for motivated individuals who can provide thought leadership in uncertain and undefined environments, and provide high impact organization and flawless execution.
This is an individual expert contributor role in the Network Initiatives, Consulting and Strategy team. The role will be anchored in Foster City, but may require upto 20% international travel to work collaboratively with in-market teams.
Lead cross-functional diverse projects consisting of local team members and subject matter experts from Headquarters and other geographies.
Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations through situation analysis of the challenges that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and
challenges.
Partner with peers in other functional areas and across global/regional teams to develop an understanding of the competitive landscape and consolidate country and/or client feedback to reach key decisions
Lead and drive projects by synthesizing complex and often incomplete information
Produce insights and analyses to improve performance, drive understanding of issues and provide strategic guidance for new initiatives
Where employee is a subject matter expert, provide knowledge sharing, coaching and training
Qualifications

approach, an entrepreneur’s creative thinking and a passion for the payments. A sense of adventure and the ability to immerse in brand new environments withevery new assignment will be critical to success.
Specific requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required / graduate school preferred
10+ years of progressively more responsiblebusiness experience in electronic payment, processing, consulting, or relatedfield
Strong competency in Technology / Processing,with experience in at least one of the following functional areas: Product Management, Strategy, System Integration
Strategic thinker who can balance big picture strategy and flawless execution with high attention to detail and quality for all work products
Multi-functional project management and strategy development skills and experiences; ability to manage deliverables and to coordinate, work productively with, and demonstrate results to other Visa divisions
Crisp interpersonal and executive communication and written skills.
Interest in creating new Products, grounded in invention and innovation.
Proven track record of high performance and recognized as a subject matter expert in business or technology areas
Ability to travel and relocate for few months as needed
