Director Business Development Hardware Partnerships TuneIn San Francisco

TuneIn is actively looking to hire an experienced Business Development and Partnership Management leader to drive critical areas of content integration and distribution, subscriber growth, brand development, and developing and managing key device and automotive (Hardware) partnerships within our Business Development team. This position works closely with the broader Business Development & Distribution division leadership, Product and Engineering teams, Content, Marketing, as well as Customer Support. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with very strong global business development experience, and the ability to build advanced, world-class partner relationships. In addition, we are looking for an individual with exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
· Conduct global business development efforts to build high impact relationships, and facilitate the distribution of TuneIn content and other products through new and existing device and technology partnerships (i.e. voice assistants, smart speakers, game consoles, set-top boxes, connected TVs, automobiles, mobile phones, tablets, PCs, etc.)
· Source, develop, and execute engagement strategies and large marketing campaigns for TuneIn’s key global partner relationships (i.e. Apple, Google, Amazon, Sonos, Microsoft, Bose, Roku, Tesla, etc) with the objective to increase app installs, subscriber acquisition, user engagement, content promotion, and brand awareness
· Build, maintain, and evolve the hardware distribution roadmap in conjunction with the Product, Engineering, and Content teams
· Collaborate very closely with TuneIn’s broader Marketing & Content teams for strategic alignment on partner programming (i.e. NFL, MLB, NBA, ESPN, CNN, MSNBC, etc), messaging, and general brand priorities for key distribution partners
· Research, track and communicate key industry trends, analysis and actionable insights to drive the Business
· Development and Product teams to best assess partnership opportunities
· Conduct reporting and data analysis to analyze partner performance and provide key requirements to technical teams to establish relevant partner tracking and reporting

Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree 7-10 years of business development experience or similar partnership management experience, preferably with an entertainment/technology and/or digital subscription service focus
· Demonstrated results in development and execution of strategy to build and maintain successful business partnerships
· Demonstrated negotiation and deal closing experience
· Experience mentoring and managing team members
· Experience with market analysis and industry research Detailed industry knowledge across entertainment, digital and technology, with a pulse on emerging trends Must possess excellent communication skills with an ability to address both business and technical audiences
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently Ability to problem solve and bring timely resolution to issues
· Proficiency in Excel and ability to analyze and draw conclusions from data
· Proficiency in Keynote/PowerPoint and the ability to present conclusions to Executives and external audiences Willingness to travel (>20%)

Preferred Qualifications
· MBA, or other Advanced Degree
· Experience establishing and managing connected device partnerships
· Experience with subscription businesses Knowledge and direct experience with international markets
