IDM Rare Disease has a core portfolio generating 1 billion USD in revenues in 2018, 80% of total RD IDM revenues. The portfolio includes hemophilia products (Refacto & Benefix), Genotropin and Rapamune. In an environment with increasing competition and access pressure, the Director Patient Value, Rare Disease IDM Marketing (Core) will be a senior member of the Core Marketing Team and will need to contribute significantly to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to protect the core business.

The role will need to lead brand planning across the region, liaise closely with the countries in the region to ensure patient insights are at the heart of our strategies and plans, as well as ensure that we are leveraging regional and country programs in a way that best drives optimization.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Development of the brand strategic and operating plan to maximize growth for portfolio in the near and longer-term based on customer insight, market dynamics,
Assume responsibility for brand revenues (with countries), and brand OPEX, closely monitor performance of the business and propose course-correcting actions in agreement with marketing leadership and country teams,
Lead tactical innovation and tactical implementation for related regional programs,
Create various marketing programs that countries can leverage to drive revenues in markets and partner with markets to identify the best programs for each,
Manage the resource allocation process across core brands and countries in IDM region,
Closely work with countries to ensure the core marketing team is developing strategies and programs that are informed by country insights and opportunities, as well as facilitate alignment and buy in with countries on specific programs.
Work effectively across functions within the region, including but not limited to medical, research, legal, finance, and regulatory, to ensure regional programs are implemented,
Contribute to a robust financial forecasting aligned to brand opportunities and market dynamics that reflect brand aspirations.
Develop and foster relationships with IDM KOLs.
Manage Agency of Record and ensure Operating Expenses are in-line with expectations.
Provide effective leadership, coach and develop the more junior members of the team by modeling and driving a high performance OWN IT and Everyone Counts culture to develop strategies, identify opportunities and manage key issues to achieve the goals set.
Conducts all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Pfizer Values & global regulatory guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Fluency in English is required
Bachelor degree required, MBA is preferred
Prior regional/global marketing experience of more than five years, preferably in Europe
Knowledge of Rare Disease space and/or International Developed Markets are preferred
Ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships with different cultures to influence; networking skills; strong customer focus (e.g., ability to achieve win/win resolutions with key stakeholders)
Strong leadership with proven ability in leading, influencing and developing others and the ability to build high-performing cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Ability to synthesize complex information and distill critical customer driven insights
Experience of accurate revenue forecasting and assumption generation
Ability to frame projects to clearly define objectives, work plan, key stakeholders, and decision-making process
Proven experience in execution – ability to bring strategy and analysis to a tactical level and get projects started and drive to completion
Experience of interaction with external stakeholders and utilizing relationships to the benefit of the business.
Ability to rebalance priorities on a regular basis and to quickly assume responsibility in a multi-tasking environment
Creative, entrepreneurial attitude with evidence of ability to execute and measure highly innovative customer focused projects fast and to a high standard
Urgency and enthusiasm while prioritizing and meeting team goals
