Visa is looking for a Sr. Director, Client Engagement Solution Architect to join the Digital Solutions team leading the integration of key enterprise clients to Visa Digital products. This role will focus on key product lines within the digital space including Visa Checkout and Visa token service.
The Sr. Director, Client Engagement Solution Architect will be responsible for meeting with key executives at large enterprise clients, educating them on product offerings and defining a solution that meets the client’s unique needs and constraints.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and drive key engagements with key worldwide enterprise clients including merchants and partners in the ecommerce space. Work to drive strategic initiatives with these clients while understanding their needs and ensuring that Visa’s interests are correctly represented while ensuring the delivery of strategic projects
Interface closely with Visa Digital Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and Product teams and deliver compelling business cases to clients for how Visa Digital solutions will benefit their online business.
Articulate how Visa Digital solutions impact eCommerce KPIs, cost efficiency, and margins to clients
Meet with client technology and business stakeholders and deliver solution recommendations with a clear business benefit to the client, while ensuring a quality of integration that drives a mutual benefit with Visa.
Problem solver, team leader, relationship builder and strong communicator
The ideal candidate possesses extensive mobile, merchant and developer knowledge, and has an ability to deliver
Manage “first-of-kind” discovery and implementation projects with merchants and partners on new use cases with Visa’s products and solutions, such as IoT, conversational commerce, connected car, etc.
Interact directly with executive leadership to evangelize digital product solutions both internally and externally by meeting with key partners, driving conversations and giving presentations
Thought leader that can identify opportunities for innovation and engagement with clients and work with the product management team to document, evangelize and implement these opportunities
Apply industry expertise with knowledge of Visa Inc.’s global market opportunities, consumers, merchants, issuers, enabling partners, and competition
Qualifications
BA/BS in Computer Science, business, or a related field
eCommerce industry experience required
Payments industry experience a major plus
Experience working with eCommerce development technologies across desktop, mobile/responsive web, and mobile app channels
Experience working with APIs in various technology environments
Experience and high comfort level working in an agile environment with Agile
Strong understanding of eCommerce KPIs and how they impact merchant revenue and profit margins
Ability to articulate a business benefit to an executive-level business stakeholder, with the ability to also explain technical integration details to a developer-level contact.
Requires strong analytical and problem solving skills
Executive level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively
Ability to build successful client relationships with high-level client executives
Excellent facilitator and moderator
Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environment
Candidate must be a self-starter and have a disposition to work independently with a commitment to detail in an organized manner.
