Global Strategic Industry Director The Coca-Cola Company Atlanta

The purpose of this role is to lead Global Industry Initiatives and C&CL Capability. Industry Initiatives that Coca-Cola participates or lead include: Consumer Goods Forum (CGF), Global Restaurant Leadership Conference (GRLC), Coca-Cola Retailer Research Council, Leading Executives Advancing Diversity (LEAD), Network of Executive Women (NEW), and several others. To influence the 206 countries and 275 bottlers in the Coca-Cola System to be the best in the world in selling, distributing and merchandising our brands everywhere ensuring our system is best in their market in customer and core commercial capabilities by creating a core university curriculum in conjunction with our bottling partners, business units and global human resources teams.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

Project and Routine Management:

• Lead initiatives across the system for Industry

• Leads and project manages strategic short and long-term opportunities on behalf of CCL organization. Includes development of project plans, allocation of resources, identification of potential issues/risks and development of contingency plans

• Ability to manage projects to ensure successful delivery (on time, within budget, meeting agreed upon success criteria) to establish clear goals and accountabilities.

Communications:

• Develop leader communication plans and documents for all events
• Point of contact for cross functional team calendar routines and manages the agenda to ensure key milestones are accomplished

Capability Building:

• Establish a clear agenda and prioritization of training and capability building needs for CCL across the system

• Identify, coordinate and facilitate content development and training materials across the system and content owners

• Develop diverse network/resources across various organizations to leverage "best in class" knowledge, approaches and processes.

Executive Leadership:

• Knowledge of the external environment in which the Company's business is conducted.

• Offer a broad perspective that extends beyond a particular functional discipline (e.g., marketing, finance) and draw upon knowledge that comes from frequent interaction with different departments, employees and sources and constituencies outside of the Company.

• Prepare briefs and remarks for Chairman and CEO

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree Required

Related Work Experience:

Minimum Required:

• 8+ years’ experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry

• Broad strategy development expertise across channel, brand, category or customer

• 5+ years current Coca-Cola System experience in Customer and Commercial Leadership

Preferred Level:

• 10+ years’ experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry

• Customer experience

• Extensive project management experience
