Finance Directors at Huge are primarily responsible for partnering with the office Managing Director to manage the office P&L as well as Client Services Group (Engagement Directors and Project Managers) to assist in onboarding new clients, monitoring existing clients and ensuring that projects are operating at an optimal level. Specifically, that projects are hitting profitability targets, revenue is recognized appropriately and A/R and WIP invoicing are timely. Finance Directors also provides support to the VP, Finance and will work closely with the Controller with regard to revenue recognition. The right candidate will need to work well under pressure, deal with many different personalities and is an enthusiastic problem solver.
What we’d like to see:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 8-10 years of related experience in an advertising agency or consulting (project oriented) company.
Expertise in accounting or finance with solid experience in an advertising agency or consulting company.
Understanding of US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley and other business fundamentals.
Team player, customer service oriented and strong work ethic.
Self-reliance and the ability to manage time and deadlines independently with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent software skills with general ledger systems such as SAP, Mediabank and Computron experience a plus.
Advanced training in Microsoft Office products with a very high skill level in Excel required.
