McKesson Health Systems is seeking a Director of Product Management to join their team in their new office in Las Colinas, Dallas TX area.
Position Description and Key Responsibilities:
Develop product strategy and roadmap for products, programs and services in each product category for health systems and alternate (site) care customers.
Oversee product development and product life cycle management (from concept to sunset)
Manage and evolve customer advisory boards and thought leadership programs to inform product strategy and roadmap
Analyze market size/ opportunity and assess competitive landscape
Build customer segmentation and targeting strategies
Lead product evaluation and launch committees through partnerships with product development, field sales and other key stakeholders
Manage team of associate product managers



Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
8+ years of marketing experience including 5+ years managerial experience

Critical Skills

Direct oversight of product(s) through life cycle, including assessment, concept, launch, growth and sunset with measurable results
10+ years of marketing, communications or related business experience
Ability to drive a long-term strategy based on competition, market dynamics and emerging technologies
Visionary and strategic team leader who has successfully staffed and mentored a product management team
Flexibility to travel as needed, up to 25-30%
Ability to present to and influence customers

Experience working in healthcare or health systems preferred
Education
4-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
