The Director, Data Acquisition & Strategy will be responsible for developing and managing partnerships with data providers and research companies who are fundamental to our background check processes. As an innovative and entrepreneurial leader, the Director of Product Data Partnerships will play a critical role in delivering on-going operational excellence and building new partnerships.
Responsibilities:

Manage a small team of analysts and operations specialists to assure the highest quality and reliability of data coming from third-party partners
Strategically identify, cultivate and contract with new third party data partners to enable new product offers and help our business grow profitably
Develop monitoring processes, tools and metrics to maintain high quality and timeliness of data delivery
Develop and implement SLA agreements with our vendors to ensure operational excellence
Guide the team to build comprehensive understanding of nuances in federal, state, and county record keeping, processes and technologies that should inform operational processes
Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, finance and sales to build new operational tools to support communication and integration with third parties
Qualifications:

8 years of overall business experience; 3-5 years direct management experience
Functional experience in Business Development, Product Management, and/or Operations
Experience managing vendor and/or partner relationships at a strategic and operational level
Analytic and/or operational experience delivering data-based products
Comfortable operating high level of autonomy and self-direction
Strong attention to detail and great communication skills
