As a Business Development Director in the Customer Alliances team, you will play an instrumental role in shaping and delivering Microsoft’s vision to drive the digital transformation of our customers.

Business and Deal process: Proactively identify strategic partnership opportunities, lead the whole partner negotiation process ensuring that mutually agreed upon business goals are achieved leading the deal from pitch to term sheet and close. Cross organization orchestration: A successful BD person will work with multiple product teams and business disciplines from legal to marketing to define and close strategic partnerships.
Qualifications and Skills: Proven business acumen with successful track record in negotiating and closing successful complex partnership deals and driving account growth. Exceptional track record (10+ years) on business development and large scale partner management experiences. Possesses understanding of the competitive landscape and an ability to navigate an industry that is constantly evolving with a high degree of ambiguity. Excellent and creative written and oral communication skills; outstanding presentation skills. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinker and creative problem solver. Deep knowledge and expertise in IoT. Has built deep, productive relationships with senior decision makers or executives at key partner companies in established and emerging markets. Has strong executive presence and maturity. MBA in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
