The US Immigration Strategy and Compliance Manager will support increasing compliance needs and mandates including I-9, Labor Condition Applications (LCAs), Site Visits and Public Inspection requirements.
Work you’ll do
The US Immigration Strategy and Compliance Manager will be central to providing on-demand guidance and expertise on complex immigration issues, delivering analysis and recommendations based on data and industry benchmarking, and will communicate with key business stakeholders.
Develop and oversee the US and Global immigration compliance program, communications and training
Serve as subject matter expert on immigration matters processes, policies, and protocols
Development and maintenance of compliance program, communications and training
Manage and oversee Compliance Specialist, I-9 Specialist and Green Card Compliance Specialist
Manage and maintain program knowledge documents, including process flows, practice documents, and communications templates
Manage and maintain internal technologies (SharePoint, Salesforce)
Monitor team and stakeholder training needs, and oversee content development and delivery
Manage Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Curricular Practical Training (CPT) programs

The team
The US Immigration program is part of the Talent team of Deloitte Services LP in partnership with the Office of General Counsel. This team provides strategic immigration services to foreign nationals who work in the U.S., immigration program compliance oversight, and training to the management, Talent Services and the employees of the Deloitte U.S. Firms.

Qualifications
Required:
BA or BS undergraduate degree or US-equivalent
Minimum of 8 years of related immigration experience
Significant program management experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to liaise and report out across the organization at very senior levels
Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders across Talent and the business
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with large teams
Ability to manage confidential information appropriately and professionally
Strong competency in core professional skills,
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
