The Director of Yield Management leads the global yield management team. Mashable is seeking a smart, self-motivated and resourceful leader to join the Revenue Operations team. This position requires strong quantitative and analytic skills and will oversee yield management and pricing for Mashable’s direct sold campaigns. In this role, the Director will plan and build campaigns to ensure that they meet and exceed performance goals while managing overall margin.

The Day to Day
Develop and mentor direct reports
Create all necessary rate cards (corporate, agency, advertiser, etc)
Provide input and guidance around campaign design, including requirements for success to achieve campaign goals
Execute and oversee day-to-day yield management across all campaigns and supply sources, including performance monitoring, identifying and implementing enhancements, issue identification and escalation
Partner with the Operations team to develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, and models, to support pricing and yield decision making
Must Haves
4-6 years of experience applying analytics in a business environment (ideally in Media, Marketing, or Finance), e.g., marketing analysis, data mining, predictive modeling, customer segmentation, and campaign measurement
Experience with marketing campaign design, campaign management, and analysis
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with DSPs and other campaign selection tools
Proven ability to think creatively about challenging analytic problems
Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities, and pay strong attention to details in a fast-paced environment
