Director, Project Management/Agile PM will be responsible for an entire portfolio of application development projects overseeing multiple scrum teams led by Agile PM’s. This position will work closely with other Agile PM’s across the organization, product management and stakeholders, and engineering leads. This position will provide leadership, coordination and management of the PMO processes and functions across the technology organization.
Must have strong understanding and experience of agile practices, values and principles working in an agile delivery environment
Accountable for leading/inspiring/partnering with cross-functional teams who have varying levels of Agile experience, coaching and building an environment of collaboration and trust
Ensure the scrum ceremonies are followed including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
Ability to identify and avoid or remove impediments by actively monitoring risks, and escalating issues or concerns when appropriate to ensure business and project objectives are met
Manage stakeholder expectations to be in line with agreed business and technical requirements, allowing the delivery of high quality products to customer satisfaction
Ensure that project priorities, dependencies, milestones and deliverables are clearly communicated and understood by project team
Manage project timelines, resources, and deployment activities
Communicate status, issues, and risks to broad audience
Detail oriented, highly organized, punctual, and a strong mentor
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills and ability to effectively message to a large audience
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the position offered or related field
Demonstrated Agile / Scrum Master experience and agile implementation success
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint ' required.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
