The core purpose of this role is to lead the development, execution and communication of comprehensive and integrated digital engagement strategies that build awareness, create engagement opportunities, drive donations and cultivate an understanding of the RMHC Brand.
This position will help lead the development of the future-state of the RMHC System digital infrastructure to support new and innovative ways to mobilize support, raise money for the cause, as well as evolve the perception of the Brand. The role is also responsible for creating resources, providing education and sharing guidance with the global network of nearly 290 RMHC Chapters.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership:
Conduct analyses and identify trends in digital fundraising and/or digital infrastructure to determine the best means to engage donors making recommendations to senior director and cross functional teams.
Lead in the development of holistic, integrated and strategic marketing plans. Execute the appropriate tactics that preserve, protect and enhance the Brand; promote fundraising objectives; ensure alignment and help achieve results to benefit the Global system.
Communicate and align RMHC, the RMHC network of Chapters, corporate donors and all associated resources, on shared goals to ensure a common focus on strategic priorities and key impact results.
Contribute to cultivating a culture of continuous learning, experimentation and ongoing evaluation and improvement.
Develop change management plans to evolve the system to future-state of digital infrastructure and engagement, as well as to continue to evolve the Brand.
Process Management:
Scope, support, and assign necessary resources to deliver strategic campaigns.
Oversee the business analytics and evaluation of KPIs and measurements related to all initiatives.
Lead in the execution of the annual strategic priorities through the development of communication and marketing resources for the local Chapters.
Support the marketing and communications senior director in ensuring relevance, consistency, integration, alignment and appropriate timing of initiatives.
Protect and enhance the cause by ensuring proper use of RMHC trademarks, logos, producer’s licenses, and making sure all communication materials have legal and creative approval.
People:
Provide candid and timely feedback, as well as develop and provide growth opportunities for direct reports.
Provide leadership point-of-view, build strong relationships and foster teamwork among local Chapters, RMHC colleagues, agencies, and donor partners to achieve maximum performance, including adherence to timelines, budgets and ensuring effective communication and collaboration to ensure a high standard of execution.
Minimum Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in marketing/fundraising strategy, digital commerce or digital engagement-related field.
12+ years of experience in integrated marketing and communication field, with an emphasis on digital fundraising or e-commerce.
Up to 20% travel within the U.S.
