The Director of Digital Insights will lead the charge in making DCG an information led business; a business where data, research, analysis, intelligence and reporting is turned into meaningful and actionable insight that drives better business decisions.
This role will therefore be responsible for devising, developing and delivering an Insight Strategy that enables colleagues within DCG to exploit all customer, market and competitor insights into commercial advantage.

Responsibilities:
Digital Insight Strategy & Management – develop a DCG Insight Strategy that enables DCG to deliver against its marketing strategy, objectives and KPIs. Drive the future insight agenda for DCG and produce commercial insight to the business
Analytics, Forecasting & Reporting – responsible for managing and developing a team of analysts, you will help translate complex business challenges and opportunities by analyzing data to provide meaningful insights and forecasts that help improve future performance
Customer & Market Research – proactively generate and communicate deep, commercial insights into customers, prospects, market and competitive landscape. Lead complex and multiple research projects; in particular experience is sought within:
Market and consumer segmentation
Competitor intelligence
Pricing and packaging
Various methodologies (e.g., conjoint analysis, qualitative and quantitative research)
Insight Innovation – manage all existing research projects underway and introduce proven insight rigour, identifying and using new techniques that provide the business with demonstrable commercial advantage. Support Product teams by providing meaningful insight into product and consumer experiences that feed into roadmap developments
Partnering & Influencing – collaborate with data, research, analysis and reporting colleagues across FNG to ensure correctly contextualized insight findings that better business decisions. Extract best in class work from agencies and suppliers
Relationship Building – build strong teamwork, communication and influencing skills with internal stakeholders, across DCG and FNG. Develop relationships with stakeholders, external partners and agencies/ vendors that enable a complete understanding of the consumer, prospects, the market, competitors and insight best practices
Qualifications
7+ years of work experience in market research/analysis/insight, ideally in the entertainment, cable network or telecommunications industry
Experience of having worked in large, complex, matrix based client organisations would be preferred
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage sophisticated, contextualized insight programs that deliver to strategy, on budget and in short time frames. Further, that these insights are commercially focused and continuously assessed against market best practice
Strong strategic thinking, problem solving and analytic skills, with the ability to juggle many projects at any given time, within an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the company
Advanced computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
BA/BS degree or above is required
