As a Data Center Business Operations Program Manager, you will provide leadership to support our Data Center Operations and you should be experienced with and passionate about using data to drive strategy and data center physical security recommendations. You will engage with leaders to design well-constructed analyses and work cross-functionally with analysts, operations, engineers and facility managers to effectively deliver innovative and actionable recommendations. You are a top performer who will have the ability to “crunch the numbers” one minute and critically think through strategic issues the next. This includes (but is not limited to): “buy vs build” analysis; business case development, competitive intelligence and internal/external benchmarking programs. You will develop relevant metrics that unlock strategic and tactical insights through establishment of the appropriate key performance indicators and respective targets. You are also comfortable with operating in a high-paced, changing work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks, manage time efficiently and navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities
Provide strategic, analytical support for all business intelligence activities for Google’s data centers/hosting business by developing work plans and robust recommendations.
Own and manage multiple initiatives and drive programs both regularly and on an ad-hoc basis to maximize hosting operating efficiencies
Perform business analytics and decision support models, such as resource and headcount modeling, supplier evaluation, and ROI analysis at a minimum.
Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams. Clearly communicate highly technical results, methods, and findings. Influence leaders to take action on these findings.
Travel up to 25-30% as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline such as finance, economics, statistics, science, or engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of relevant work experience in management consulting focused on operational and strategic initiatives.
3 years of technical or engineering experience.

Preferred qualifications:
MBA or graduate degree in a management field with an emphasis on business operations and strategy.
Technical/Industrial Operations knowledge and experience in areas such as supplier management, project management, global operations, and/or cost controls in industry.
Ability to conduct business analysis with complex data to identify critical issues to the firm's strategic, organizational, and operational needs.
Data driven problem solving skills; ability to identify key issues, gather and analyze large complex data sets to support hypotheses and develop actionable recommendations.
Applied project management skills; ability to create workable project plans with project scope and execute on such plans.
Executive presentation skills; ability to summarize facts and findings in order to develop conclusions and recommendations.
