As a member of Microsoft's Corporate Strategy Team, you will drive formal quantitative and qualitative analytical decision support on high-priority, cross-company strategic issues. Example project areas include: strategic acquisition evaluation, value chain assessment, white space opportunity sizing, business model analysis, competitive analysis, business analysis and governance. This Analyst role opening will include a mix of strategy and governance activities, with a set allocation of your time to critical internal analyses to be delivered on a monthly basis to the Senior Leadership Team.

Above and beyond the strategy skills required for all Corporate Strategy Analysts, your unique role in supporting governance activities will require strong project management skills, an ability to work with cross-functional teams at different levels of seniority across the organization, and an interest in keeping up with the rhythm of our business. Successful candidates will have excellent attention to detail, will work well under pressure, and be able to communicate succinctly and clearly.

Job Requirements:
- Self-starter with business analysis skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to formulate and deliver insights around complex business problems in a thoughtful and persuasive manner
- Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint capabilities; deep research skills
- Exposure to team-based work in a high-intensity environment; ability to independently handle multiple high-priority work-streams
- Strong personal initiative and good judgment; desire to succeed in a demanding, creative, and entrepreneurial environment
- Desire to continuously learn and develop your business skills

Experience:
- BA/BS with a strong academic background from a premier institution
- 2-4 years of relevant work experiences such as at a top-tier investment bank, institutional investor, strategy or management consulting firm, in-house corporate strategy team, or other relevant position.
