You will have exceptional analytical, statistical, technical, and research skills to use in building the team’s understanding of market size and segments, user behavior and how products influence user productivity, satisfaction and behavior. Become Google’s subject matter expert on meeting behaviors and trends based on your analysis of meeting data.
Influence critical product and marketing decisions by gathering and analyzing product usage and user research data to understand how relevant products are being used, how changes impact user behavior and what drives these behaviors.
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor meeting behavior, the performance of our products, and identify trends and opportunities.
Construct large data sets built from multiple sources and conduct statistical analyses, such as regressions, factor analyses, t-tests, etc. Work independently, prioritize multiple stakeholders and tasks, and manage work time efficiently.
Develop and execute analysis plans for ongoing projects. Communicate findings and recommendations and influence teammates to take action.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree in economics, statistics, finance, industrial/organizational psychology, mathematics, operations, or similar field that studies systems and uses quantitative and statistical analysis (t-tests, regression analysis, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
2 years of work experience as an analyst, researcher or data scientist
Experience with SQL, statistical coding (R, SAS, MATLAB), spreadsheets and A/B experiments
Preferred qualifications:
BS degree and work experience in related fields or Master's degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature (e.g. Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics)
Experience working on behavioral technology products such as G Suite. Experience conducting user experience research through focus groups, interviews or surveys, including research design and data analysis. Client-service and ownership orientation with extremely strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
Ability to apply statistical training to real-world data, familiarity and experience with effective experimental design, training and experience in areas such as data analysis, survey design, statistical modeling.
Excel at visually and verbally conveying complex results in a simple way and extracting meaning from them
Demonstrated ability to work and complete projects independently, as well as ability to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic fast-paced environment
