You'll work in our Washington, D.C. office as an integral part of our overall operations and leadership teams for McKinsey & Company, Inc. Washington D.C. (“DCG”).

You'll serve as the Chief Operating Officer of McKinsey & Company, Inc. Washington, D.C. (DCG) as an advisory expert in regulatory requirements in supporting Federal, State, and Local governments.
You'll be expected to have a comprehensive and real time understanding of all applicable contractual, legal and regulatory requirements, and to evolve DCG’s approach to compliance (including review, augmentation and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems) to ensure a world-class program commensurate with client and regulator expectations.
You'll review performance on an ongoing basis and provide regular reporting to the DCG Managing Partner and leadership. You'll also provide options for resolution for complex risk issues to DCG Leadership based upon your professional expertise and by seeking input from relevant DCG team members. You'll also be the key link between McKinsey and GSA for Federal Government Schedules, managing the contract and the relationship, as well as provide leadership on multiple award vehicles used with states and local municipalities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Head of operations and deep practical experience in a professional services firm serving federal, state and/or local clients or 10+ years of experience in operations related to professional services firms Strong interpersonal skills and ability to apply business and risk judgment to interface with business leaders, peers and team members and engage in creative problem-solving Exposure to and professional experience with the full suite of operational functions (finance, risk, compliance, security)Proven track record in designing, implementing and delivering compliance programs, including identifying and achieving strategic priorities in a decentralized, challenging, and fast-paced environmentExperience leading large teamsSubstantial background in government contracting
