The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, and extensive scripting and web development experience. The candidate will also have a PHP, JavaScript and python development experience.

Deliverables include both prototypes necessary for business validation and usability testing and production-ready code. The candidate will also serve as a knowledge resource for the latest trends and technologies within user interface design and web development. You should be able to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines. You should be comfortable wearing many hats. In collaboration with our business teams and technical partners, the candidate will work actively to assist in improving the usability, efficiency, and overall effectiveness of our WW Operations Materials and Procurement Team. A strong candidate will have a solid experience with technology and product management and possess a strong written and verbal communication skills as well as superb skills in business analysis, procurement, project management, process improvement, and change management.

Key Qualifications

••Skills required for this position are:
••Understanding high tech industry procurement and finance concepts
••Database architecture and relational database management
••Experience with one of the following: Filemaker Pro, Access, SQLite, MySQL, Oracle or similar database solutions.
••High level of proficiency with MS Excel (use of pivot tables, vlookups, macros, & more)
••Strong presentation and communication skills
••Experience documenting processes and producing workflows
••Ability to work with minimal or vague requirements
••Working knowledge of the following programs a plus: PHP, MySQL, HTML 4/5, XML (including XSLT), CSS, Dreamweaver, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Applescript/Automator, Java/Processing, Javascript, & Perl

The Apple WW Operations Materials Team is seeking an experienced Business Solutions Developer in support of Apple’s procurement team. The primary objective will be is to develop systems by working with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. The position is responsible for concept, design, and implementation of both technical and process solutions. It requires that you have a blend of business, communication, technical, and people skills. As a developer of applications, you will be asked to support database architecting, system planning, technical support, training, and administration of solutions. Responsibilities for this job include: •Creation and support of scalable web based and standalone applications in multiple platforms. •Requirements gathering and documentation •Database architecting and systems workflow modeling •Project management and system implementation •Analysis, reporting, and or presenting of data to produce action items to resolve issues •Creation of process documents, flow charts, and work instructions •Financial liability and cost analysis reporting •Presentations and regular communication to senior leaders. •Rapid development cycles, interactive learning, and constant feedback to produce high quality results

Education

- BA or BS degree, plus 2-5 years related work experience - Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or demonstrated comparable work experience
