Citilabs is looking for a hands on Director of Marketing to participate in the Smart Cities community; develop our thought leadership; leverage our existing customer base; and directly work with staff and partners to create and edit content to drive a comprehensive marketing plan. This position will lead the creative team to identify, plan, post, and manage content both virtual through the website, social media, and email; as well as through our physical presence at events around the world including user conferences, training courses, and trade shows. This position reports directly to the VP of Business Development.

Duties

Provides leadership in marketing strategy development, execution, and management.

Assists in developing the marketing plan, tactics, and resources to achieve brand/company goals.

Leads the development of project briefs which outline the objectives, goals, and timelines of marketing projects.

Collaborates with the Sales and Product teams in developing and editing content and the marketing programs for initiatives, campaigns, promotions, and product launches to achieve desired objectives/targets and support the overall brand strategy.

Leads the creative team to oversee the development of promotional materials and marketing elements that align with the overall brand voice, platform, and strategy and increase sales.

Directs the implementation of marketing and campaign plans, including positioning, campaign development strategies, and market strategy insights.

Directs and manages the marketing calendar and activities to ensure messaging about programs/projects fits seamlessly into our international promotional calendar.

Interfaces with industry and professional organizations to increase awareness of the brand and to expand networking opportunities.

Generate reporting and analyze effectiveness of social media, inbound marketing campaigns, and workflows.

Assist with establishing and managing timelines and deliverables for social and other marketing campaigns.

Design and drive a comprehensive demand generation strategy integrating and leveraging tactics and tools including search engine marketing, direct marketing, webinars, events and social media.

Manage Demand Generation ensuring performance against lead forecasts and pipeline creation.

Track and analyze marketing performance and continually implement optimizations for increased growth.

Cultivate and leverage relationships across the organization an ongoing basis to identify current and future initiatives, in addition to sharing performance results.

Requirements

BA or BS degree w/5+ years of marketing experience, heavy focus in demand/lead generation, digital marketing, and campaign management roles a must.

Must be able to demonstrate proficiency developing and editing content.

Experience creating and implementing proven successful demand creation, lead nurturing, and pipeline acceleration programs.

Creative, passionate marketer with desire to innovate and transform marketing practices and strategy.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to think and execute both strategically and creatively.

Strong organizational skills and ability orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously to get things accomplished.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily PowerPoint and Excel.

Ability to produce high quality work on tight timelines with great attention to detail.

Experience with Hubspot or other marketing automation tool preferred.
