The Worldwide Accessories Strategy & Business Development team is seeking an experienced professional to lead the continuing development of a global accessories sales strategy, and to program manage the execution of strategic priorities through cross-functional collaboration.

Working closely with the WW Accessories BD Director, the Strategy Program Manager will be responsible for designing all aspects of the accessories strategy, including sell-in pitches, incentive program structures, and assortment recommendations. This will include not only articulating the high-level approach, but also building the detailed support for that approach, including designing presentations, modeling business cases, and detailing out product-level information.
The Strategy Program Manager will also be responsible for interfacing cross-functionally at a detailed level with sales, supply planning, reseller operations, finance, and legal to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing management of new programs, and will consistently track the progress of programs worldwide to provide regular and comprehensive reporting to the executive team.
In addition to Apple-internal responsibilities, the Strategy Program Manager will be expected to directly interact with customers to assist in selling-in the value of Apple-branded Accessories, to provide detailed guidance on assortment, placement, volume, and financial opportunity, and to support account managers in translating customer feedback into actionable next steps for the supply planning and finance organizations. The Strategy Program Manager should also be entrepreneurial and seek to “wear many hats,” proactively pursuing new and unique projects as the team grows and evolves.
Key Qualifications
5+ years of experience in sales, finance, operations, professional services, or related roles.
Experience in management/strategy consulting or related field preferred.
Experience in the retail, telecommunications, or consumer electronics industries preferred.
Advanced Keynote expertise (or related expertise and ability to ramp quickly in Keynote).
Advanced Excel expertise, including ability to build complex models from scratch.
Outstanding organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Proven ability to architect new cross-functional business processes to ensure timely results.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Excellence in understanding and overcome challenging objections.

Description
Maintain awareness of all aspects of the accessory business, and ensure the effective communication of current status and next steps throughout the organization.
Assist in defining the global accessories strategy, and ensure effective translation of the high-level strategy into detailed content, processes, and tactics.
Oversee design of sell-in materials unique to each partner
Deliver sell-in message, assortments, and program terms unique to each partner.
Model business cases for incentive programs, consumer offers, and demand generation programs, and communicate conclusions both internally and directly to customers.
Manage the drafting of legal agreements to ensure program requirements are met.
Interface between customers and supply-demand management to sure optimal assortment and supply for launch and replenishment.
Oversee preparation of regular reporting on sales progress for the executive team.
Serve as the primary interface to finance to ensure effective reporting and financial modeling.
Proactively identify and model new opportunities to drive the accessories business further, including designing and seeking approval for new program structures.
Proactively build relationships within Apple to drive engagement with accessories.
Education
BS or BA; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
