Director Medical Outcomes Specialist Pfizer Collegeville

The headquarters based Medical Outcomes Specialist (MOS) Director for Inflammation and Immunology is responsible for supporting the MOS I&I Medical Lead in the development and execution of the MOS strategic and tactical plans supporting products in the inflammation and immunology franchise of the Global Innovative Health business unit.

Responsibilities

• Develop MOS strategic and tactical plans in collaboration with the HQ MOS Medical Lead for Inflammation & immunology, the I&I portfolio strategy team (PST), I&I medical advisory team (MAT), MOS Payer Health Trends and Channel (HTAC) Xeljanz Sub-team, headquarters medical affairs, and colleagues from Global Health & Value (Outcomes & Evidence, Real World Data and Analytics, Payer Insights and Access) for products and their respective indications (marketed and future) in the Global Innovative Health (GIH) business inflammation and immunology portfolio
• Support with the MOS Medical Lead the execution of the MOS strategic and tactical plans in collaboration with MOS Leadership team, the MOS PST and MAT teams, headquarters medical leads, and leads from Global Health & Value (Outcomes & Evidence, Real World Data and Analytics, Payer Insights and Access)
• Conduct advisory boards and qualitative research to inform strategy and tactical development including participant recruitment, discussion guide development, consultant contract development using Pfizer ENGAGE system and final report with recommendations
• Prepare submissions for MOS tactics to brand review committee (RC), medical review committee (MRC) or Payer Channel Access (PCA) review committee and attend all RC meetings where MOS materials are being reviewed
• Manage all back end processes required to produce and warehouse print based materials for MOS
• Upload all resources, and guidelines for use to CRC site and PROMOS for access by MOSs and monitor expiration dates on approved materials
• Ensure that MOS colleagues are appropriate trained on all resources
• Assess use of resources with Xeljanz MOS MAT team
• Assess performance to plan monthly with Xeljanz MOS PST and MAT teams

Qualifications

Required Training, Education, and capability
• 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
• Clinical, formulary management, pharmacoeconomic and/or outcomes research experience
• Advanced degree and/or equivalent pharmacy practice experience.
• Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy or equivalent and US Pharmacy Licensure preferred

Preferred Prior Experience:
• Experience developing or using medical outcomes specialist (MOS) resources
• Managed Care, Pharmaceutical Industry, and/or Quality Improvement
• Strategic and tactical planning
• Pharmacoeconomic and/or Outcomes Research
• Residency or Fellowship experience
