This role will serve as a strategic partner and primary point of contact between the Information Services (IS) organization and the Global Finance Leadership team, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology solution providers.

Key responsibilities include: build strong collaborative relationships with division leadership and teams; guide the division in effectively investing in IS to meet strategic objectives by providing knowledge and expertise to department heads and process owners in identifying opportunities for technology and prioritizing initiatives; prepare, define, and monitor IS projects to address business needs; and, manage alignment of project deliverables with business requirements throughout the project and delivery life cycle.

Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)
Drive IT value creation and customer satisfaction for the Global Finance leadership team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with division leadership and act as a liaison between IS and the Global Finance organization.
Ability to learn and understand business requirements, issues and processes to articulate the context of projects and processes in business terms
Develop IS Strategy for Global Finance through active contribution of approaches to achieve finance strategic goals combining finance and IS elements
Conduct meetings and interviews with stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional sessions to define and document high-level business requirements and project scope
Lead collaborative efforts for business case development
Positively challenge and question business partners on needs and benefits
Charter and prioritize program and project initiatives in conjunction with division leadership
Assist in the development of metrics used to track value delivery
Identify opportunities where conflicts/synergies/redundancies exist between business capabilities and systems to improve IT effectiveness
Contribute to the budgeting process and lead and recommend CERs for functional IS projects
Liaise with other IS stakeholders in project management, architecture and governance to ensure alignment and ensure a smooth integration of process output with the rest of the IS/IT environment
Manage external resources: from finalization of deals with external vendors within authorized budgets (cost and time) to monitor implementation resources and recommending any necessary corrective actions.
Lead, engage and develop team of business analysts, project managers and/or other IS resources
Communicate on projects by issuing regular status updates and managing communication within team, IS organization and Global Finance leadership and stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications
Education & special trainings:
• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of professional work experience in IT/IS and/or business discipline

Qualifications & experience:
• Extensive program management experience, working with internal and external cross-divisional team members, preferably with IS projects
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with both Finance Vice-President leaders and technical teams
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to define, recruit, manage, engage and develop a high performing team
• Good business acumen and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with Finance systems and processes

Physical & mental requirements:
Demonstrated professional experience in IS and/or other related business discipline is required.
Ability to understand systems, interrelationships and recommend enhancements, and building IT strategy
Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, analytical, change management and communication skills

Ability to work effectively across functions and build successful relationships in global matrix organization
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ongoing maintenance of skills on the most important deployed applications
Awareness of current and future trends in the industry and competitors
