Advise Citi’s corporate and financial institutions clients on strategic solutions to address their most complex financial needs including capital raising, risk management, M&A, capital structure, valuation, and capital deployment across multiple industries.

Participate in multibillion dollar M&A and capital raising transactions (including equity, investment grade and leveraged debt financing) by working closely with clients, industry teams, capital markets, and M&A professionals. Drive the development of client relationships through identification of emerging trends that affect corporations, and advise on risk management, distribution policy, shareholder activism, credit ratings and other complex issues. Develop enhancements to traditional valuation analyses using quantitative analytics including statistical and simulation-based analysis.
Drive thought leadership on complex corporate finance issues including M&A and risk management and publishing reports on these topics. Manage and develop junior talent for the firm.

Qualifications

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a very high level of motivation, and a strong desire in developing and applying academic research to solve real-world corporate finance problems. Significant writing experience and a publication record would be an advantage.
