This Business Relationship Manager role will be the primary IT leader to establish a team and investment portfolio that delivers our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) agenda, and related capabilities, including all components of PLM and new approaches to open innovation.

Manages business partner relationships and is accountable for all aspects of technology delivery and support for business function related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), including overall responsibility for IT delivery and spend, including determining funding source and timing of delivery for projects/programs
Establishes relationships with senior business leadership/management to define strategic challenges going forward across functions and in partnership with key Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) leaders
Owns IT enablement of the solution agenda end-to-end from initiation to execution to realization of business value
Partners with the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team to own the business transformation plan and value/benefit realization activities globally, with coordination across sectors
Markets and communicates solution recommendations from the enterprise architecture team to business partners that support business requirements
Captures the critical capability gaps of area(s) of ownership and works with appropriate teams to design solutions to fill those gaps
Identifies, assesses, and promotes the use of new technologies for increased productivity or new capabilities for the business
Leverages the long-term road map defined by architecture, recommending alternatives to meet the business process requirements and financial requirements
Job Dimensions:
The PLM program proposes a holistic change management approach comprised of end -to-end product lifecycle processes, related organization and governance, and digitized product data management and collaboration, which is then enabled by technology. The PLM program is structured upon a strategic approach and is logically split into 3 phases over 5 years, to deliver value quickly via rapid prototyping, while building the foundation.
Education:
Advanced degree in computer science or business preferred
Work Experience:
Successful candidate should have 10+ years of IT leadership or consulting in the areas of product lifecycle management and / or consumer product goods with strong exposure to the process areas covering program & project management, specification management, and product launch and sustain activities.
Depth in understanding of product data model and integration with transactional and analytical environments is preferred.
