The Everwise Account Management team helps customers successfully adopt and leverage Everwise products and services. Account Management contributes significantly to the Everwise Sales performance objectives. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Director of Account Management will work closely with other Everwise teams, such as Sales, Operations, Marketing & Product, to ensure customers are completely satisfied and that sales targets with existing customers are achieved.
Watch: Career Advice The Director of Account Management is responsible for expanding Everwise’s existing sales footprint in an assigned set of key enterprise accounts, as well as prospecting into existing accounts to create new buyers and engage additional budgets. Working on this team, you will also be tasked to analyze existing business and make recommendations to structure rep alignment and customer strategy to create the most impact in partnership with each customer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, high-energy individual who enjoys prospecting and has demonstrated hunter sales experience and DNA focused on Fortune 500 companies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage a team to leverage relationships in an assigned set of existing enterprise accounts to prospect and close new business opportunities with additional decision makers, including a wide range of human resources titles
Develop and enforce processes to track and improve the performance of team members. Work closely with VP of Sales to ensure overall team success in relation to defined metrics.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve sales processes, drive accountability, and raise the standard of team performance to increase revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
Engage with product and delivery leadership to ensure customer success and build strategies to strengthen at risk accounts.
Partner with Sales Ops and Marketing to execute Go To Market strategy for existing accounts across all decision makers and end users
Maintain effective hiring, onboarding, and training processes that will allow Everwise to consistently attract top producers who ramp quickly.
Keep current with all Everwise product information, pricing and contract terms.
Travel, as required. Approximately 15-20% travel.
Required Skills and Experience:
5-10 years of direct sales experience, ideally B2B sales at a software company. SaaS sales experience a plus; selling into human resources or something similar is preferred
Demonstrated experience in developing additional business relationships with all levels of enterprise organizations while maintaining the initial relationship
Must have experience managing a sales focused expansion team, exceeding aggressive quotas, and managing a large team, including employees in other locations
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment with changing needs and requirements.
Must be able to learn new L&D areas, conceptualize sales strategy, and teach both to reps and customers with a fast turnaround.
Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and management skills.
Ability to converse in a professional and knowledgeable manner on various industry topics and Internet technologies in order to sell opportunities to prospective customers.
Strong detail orientation with numbers, follow through and contract details.
Must have superior written and oral communication skills.
Creativity, persistence, integrity, curiosity, and the will to succeed.
A Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, Marketing, or related fields, or relevant experience
