Senior Director Distribution Operations Under Armour Baltimore

The Sr. Manager, Production Control Distribution is responsible for overseeing the planning of operations workload and effectively communicating with all departments while maintaining the most productive and efficient work flow throughout the DH.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Strategically plans the daily operations workload for the DH

Monitors/maintains operations balance throughout the DH
Provides critical business updates to all departments to ensure successful operations
Works with each department to manage labor throughout the DH
Builds and maintains effective relationships with business partners outside of the DH
Effectively lead production meetings with multiple departments and levels of leadership
Develop and maintain robust reporting
Ensures operations planning meets cost per unit and carton per hour goals

Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing daily work assignments; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of related experience in a distribution or warehouse environment; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
At least 3 years of experience in supervising others.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience in the apparel industry strongly preferred.
Ability to travel as may be required (approximately 20%).
Highly skilled with database/spreadsheet programs, and specifically MS Office programs (MSWord, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Experience with WMi and SAP strongly preferred.
