We are looking for an inspiring Strategic Research Director who is seasoned in primary and/or secondary research (including measurement expertise) to help us grow our activity by building long term successful relationships with our clients, our partners and our people. What you’ll do:

The Director’s responsibilities includes, but is not limited to:
Be highly consultative, working with our clients and Edelman account teams to problem solve their challenges
Lead research projects including day-to-day management with client and team, development and execution of research studies from start to finish, and presenting results in a compelling and visual way
Develop smart new business proposals by understanding client’s objectives, scoping project and appropriate methodology to meet objectives
Manage project financial reporting and profitability in a timely manner with your business savvy
Grow client business through insightful and valuable work product, understanding of client business and ability to bring learning opportunities to client as needed
Work with go-getting junior staff and help grow their skills
You enjoy and have demonstrated experience in:
Balancing an ever-changing and diverse range of research projects, including global and complex research projects involving: quantitative, qualitative research, media analysis and/or digital analytics.
Basic understanding of either:
Statistical analysis (e.g. Regression, Segmentation, MaxDiff, Conjoint)
Media and social performance evaluation
Being intellectually curious and using your consultative mindset to push the status quo
Proactive and comfortable diving right in; collaborative personality that is adept at relationship building with clients and colleagues
Keen understanding of business and marketing, and values measurement
Have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in market research, consumer insights, ideation, strategy development or digital/social research
Who you are:
Strategic problem solver, curious and passionate, humble but ambitious
Expert in either Primary or Secondary research with at least an understanding or strong curiosity for the other side.
