As the Sr. Director, Infrastructure Hosting you will be responsible for managing multiple teams of professional system administrators supporting the IT Infrastructure. As a technology leader you will be accountable for the plan and build of the compute and storage infrastructure, supporting corporate and engineering functions in the Juniper premises, and on the public cloud. In your role as Sr. Director, Infrastructure Hosting, the measure of your success will be your technical depth, and collaborative “lead by example” leadership style as you:
Manage the work intake process, prioritization, resourcing, scheduling, meeting & exceeding customer expectations while managing to budget.
Design infrastructure solutions while adhering to Juniper’s IT architectural standards.
Audit compliance; ensuring IT processes are adhered to, and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Engage with internal and external customers including engineering, corporate & cloud applications teams, IT Operations, network and End-user services to provide seamless infrastructure services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience with mixed storage environment (Hitachi, Netapp, Violin, Pure, Nimble, etc.).
- 10+ years of relevant experience directly related to managing Unix, Linux, Windows, Hypervisor and mixed OS systems.
- 8+ Years of previous management experience with at least 3 years at Director level or above
- Experience supporting a 24x7 Operational environment
- Have managed IT compliance function
- Robust understanding of Network technology dependency as applied to distributed computing.
- Expertise with application, and web middleware and databases.
- Sound knowledge of enterprise security with detailed understanding of securing IT infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Openstack, IAAS and PAAS.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple techno-functional and cross-functional groups.
- Proven success effectively adapting and delivering highly technical concepts and issues across varied audience demographics in a comprehensible and business friendly manner.
