MasterCard is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead the development of next generation digital commerce platforms. This position requires a thorough knowledge of what it takes to develop scalable, low latency, highly secure and high performance platforms from the ground up.

As a Director of Software Engineering, you will lead several teams of software engineers through entire SDLC to implement and deliver products. You will need to establish teams that are highly agile and deliver with quality at a faster pace. This position is responsible for maintaining application integrity, operational excellence through automation and delivery by working with other engineering teams across the MasterCard to manage internal and external dependencies to deliver quality product on time.

You are responsible for Building high performance teams including hiring, mentoring and managing a highly skilled Software Engineers and Managers. We are looking for talented leaders who enjoy working in a fast paced environment that deliver innovative products in the digital payments. Having prior experience in payments industry / high performance application is a plus.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the software development, leading teams.
• Must have minimum of 5 years of management experience.
• Proven ability to design / architect highly scalable applications/systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strategic in thinking and ability to execute.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Ability to influence and partner with teams outside of the engineering organization.
• Proven track record of delivering large scale projects.
• Excellent communication / presentation skills.
