The GeoLocation Partnerships (GLP) team is a global team responsible for the partnerships needed to enable Google Maps/Earth and all of its client properties including Search, Now, Calendar, and Ads/Commerce. Functionally, the work that we do involves strategy, agreement negotiation, and building relationships. GeoLocation Partnerships sits within the Google Product Partnerships organization, and operates globally with significant cross-functional touch points across the company.

Responsibilities
Define/articulate partnerships strategy in collaboration with international leaders, including defining, driving, and building cross-functional support for new early stage initiatives.
Negotiate complex strategic partnerships that are often first-of-a-kind agreements.
Directly build, maintain and evolve strong relationships with the most critical third parties.
Develop strategic insights based on global partner feedback to provide market intelligence to Google's product teams.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or other advanced degree.
6 years of relevant work experience at a startup or an established company in any of the following roles: business development, relationship management, product management, corporate strategy, or consulting.
Demonstrated experience negotiating complex agreements. Strong analytical and reasoning skills to structure partnerships models and handle technical, contractual and financial issues.
Domain expertise and relationships with Mobile Apps, Mapping, or Local companies. Product savvy, and passionate about consumer product experiences on mobile.
Demonstrated strong relationship-building skills, ability to clarify and summarize complex issues and strong attention to detail with the ability to influence all levels of management cross-functionally and externally.
Ability to make things happen quickly through tenacity and sense of urgency. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid and collaborative environment.
