Understanding how all elements of the system software ecosystem work together and developing QA approaches that fit the overall strategy.
Responsible for development of test strategies and creation of appropriate test harnesses as well as pragmatic testing approaches.
Drive testing methodology and tools to support agile and mobile-based application development lifecycles
Overseeing the development and execution of test plans and monitoring and reporting on test execution.
Will work with a team of quality engineering professions to ensure the highest quality product delivery - and define measurable metrics to gauge progress against objective QA goals
The successful candidate is an experienced QA manager with a track record of driving team engagement and bringing consumer facing products to market
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
5+ years of industry experience, including at least three years of hands-on testing and two years as a manager
Experience in Internet and mobile platforms - web based technology testing and mobile development (iOS and/ or Android)
Hands on technical experience in developing and delivering QA automation testing
Strong knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and able to synthesize the results - drive overall improvement in delivering highly relevant test outcome metrics
Strong communication skills - both written and oral
Experience managing both technical QA engineers and potentially other QA management leaders
Active and recent experience with iOS and/or Android-based application development and quality assurance.
