The Manager of Security Support Services is a key leadership role within Security, in Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS), and above all, at Google. You will lead a team that is responsible for the implementation, ownership, and execution of processes and projects by Google Security’s technical, operational, and analytic support services. You will use your leadership and knowledge of systems, people, and business to define a trajectory for the security services at Google. You will utilize detailed knowledge of Google's big-picture mission and the external landscape to guide Google's strategy and push the team to deliver innovative improvements that drive success.

Responsibilities
Build and develop the security services team, enabling Google’s valuable people, technologies, and facilities to perform optimally.
Lead implementation, ownership, and execution of processes and projects by Google Security’s technical, operational, and analytical support functions.
Manage all large project timelines to ensure deadlines are met, nurturing key partnerships cross-functionally to achieve synergy between technical and business operations, especially with respect to safety and security programs.
Create a dynamic vision for systems teams, providing critical thought and logistical leadership for security system plans, badging efforts, and access control improvements.
Oversee big-picture goals and operations of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and the Project & Analytics team, assessing overarching physical security problems and solutions. Manage all large project timelines to ensure deadlines are met and communicate in a timely fashion with internal business partners, end users and security management at large.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of work experience in managing operations and teams.
Preferred qualifications:
Dynamic experience implementing and developing new programs, utilizing existing industry knowledge and cutting-edge technology.
Proven track record leveraging technical systems and managing simultaneous, large-scale security systems projects with competing resources and priorities.
Strong analytical acumen and data-driven mindset towards decision-making in order to define strategy, spark growth, and fuel long-term impact.
Creative self-starter who possesses excellent project management leadership skills; proven ability to guide others to deliver outstanding results in a timely manner using a strong sense of focus, organization, and meticulous attention to detail.
Superior people and large team management skills; highly skilled at harmonizing numerous complex stakeholders spread globally.
