Facebook is seeking a leader to manage the New Products team within the Business Support & Services (BSS) team. The BSS organization is a collection of teams focused on scaling our digital supply chain globally with an emphasis on operational excellence, quality and data/analytics skills. The team focuses on managing and scaling our media business for our advertisers by developing and implementing solutions with an emphasis on automation and service.
Watch: Career Advice The New Products team is designed to project manage all new ad product launches, acquisition integrations and ad programs (e.g. Video, Instagram, LiveRail). This team serves as the interface between BSS, Product teams and acquired companies. Emphasis is on the pre and post launch stage and handing off involvement to respective teams as products/business lines become mature. The goal is to ensure BSS is brought in upstream in order to meet all operational, policy, process, tool, staffing and product requirements prior to launch and plan for fully and seamlessly integrating into the Ops functions required for long term sustainability. This individual will assume management responsibilities in developing our talented team members, as well as drive cross-functional impact with our internal partners.

This role is based in Menlo Park and reports to the Director of Business Support & Services.
Responsibilities
Responsible for a global team with diverse stakeholders
Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across Facebook with Product, Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Policy, Growth, and Operations
Own the new product launch strategy for BSS and guide a team to scale out new products globally
Drive product adoption and ongoing education for new Facebook marketing products
Provide thought leadership on new monetization strategies and ad products partnering with the Emerging Business team
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
Partner closely with the global BSS team to execute seamlessly on our strategy and priorities across each business line and product area
Identify immediate or upcoming user needs and work with the team to develop a plan to address them
Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team
Gather and synthesize relevant data to support new product launch strategies
Identify trends and key insights to drive impact to team goals, including user experience, bottom-line revenue, and operational efficiency
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or similar)
6+ years of experience in consultancy/analytics or related industries
4+ years management experience, ideally in a role involving product management, strategy or operations
Significant experience leading and developing high performing teams
Deep understanding of the advertising marketplace, Facebook ad products, competitive ad products, and help deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry
Understanding of digital marketing measurement and analytics across brand and DR objectives
Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment a plus
Proven ability to make sound business decisions
Ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner
Passionate about problem solving and the potential for innovative solutions that online marketing has created
Experience working with global teams
