Under Armour is looking for a Head of Outdoor Merchandising who will be responsible for managing all aspects of Merchandising for the Outdoor category. This leader will be on point to anticipate and create the next movement in these categories, will have revenue accountability, and will be responsible for Outdoor Merchandising standards, product segmentation, and go-to-market strategy. This individual will create the brand experience for our Outdoor business. Working closely with colleagues from Product, Marketing, Planning and Sales, this leader will help ensure Under Armour’s Outdoor business is created, assorted, and translated to effectively drive sales, create a great customer experience, and increase market share. The Head of Outdoor Merchandising will build a team of category, channel, and market experts and ensure each and every teammate is aligned to our overall brand mission to “Make All Athletes Better”.
Responsibilities: Head of Outdoor Merchandising
The Head of Outdoor Merchandising is responsible for all aspects of Merchandising strategy:
Share accountability for Outdoor Revenue, SKU productivity, and sell-through for Outdoor business
Ensure Brand vision and Outdoor Product stories are being told consistently across the globe
Develop strategic planning road map for Outdoor product trends, needs, and opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional executives to align big stories, drive product assortment, and deliver consistent stories
Build integrated go-to-market strategy that delivers a consistent Outdoor brand story and also tailors assortments to regional market needs
Ensure appropriate product segmentation and channel differentiation for Outdoor product
Lead and build a team while communicating vision, inspiring performance, and developing talent
Consolidate feedback from markets and channels, both qualitative and quantitative, into actionable follow-up for Product team

Minimum of 5-7 years in merchandising- or product-related positions of increasing responsibility including leading large organizations.
