The Account Executive has responsibility for prospecting and closing new and cross sale business in an assigned region focusing on Mid-Enterprise accounts. With the support of our Security Architect and Demand Generation team, you will utilize a consultative sales approach to map Dell SecureWorks service offerings to the clients’ needs.
-Quickly develop situational fluency on SecureWorks offerings and security concepts
-Prospect, sell and close business into Mid Enterprise accounts in assigned region
-Ability to manage the sales process with tight control over each stage
-Be a strong sales "hunter", maintain & foster longstanding client relationships
-Effectively map Dell SecureWorks solutions to meet prospects needs
-Develop and follow account plans for key strategic accounts
-Manage pipeline and KPI to ensure seller is well positioned for consistent and long term success
As a managed security provider, SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements
-Minimum of 8 years’ experience in direct sales/account management in technology, information security or managed service industry
-Previous experience selling information security systems, network security, information security or managed services
-Strong technical acumen (information security and technology, technology services, networking)
-Significant Business to Business Sales experience via telephone
-50% -75% travel is expected
Preferred
-Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems)
