Director BPM Implementation Solutions Architect Fidelity Investments Salt Lake City

XTRAC Solutions, a Fidelity Investments Company, is seeking a talented and experienced Solutions Architect to drive large scale customer implementations for Process Manager (PM), XTRAC’s BPM solution suite. The Solutions Architect will be involved from the pre-sales phase through the successful production implementation and must be able to work across multiple simultaneous implementations. The Solutions Architect role will focus on evaluating both the business operation and how business processes will be impacted from business change.
This hands-on position will be responsible for successfully guiding design, architecture, development, testing, deployment, quality and delivery of large-scale software solutions, systems, platforms, services or technologies that relates to BPM and integration between systems and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
Owner of overall solution design and architecture for XTRAC Process Manager (PM)-related initiatives
Develop or participate in the development of the overall solution design, including:
XTRAC workflow engine selection process
Integration needs and approaches, including legacy systems, emerging technologies, and identifying appropriate vendor options
Identification and implementation of external process and controls
Strong focus on data and the end to end data model
Early recognition of product gaps and collaboration with product and development teams on strategy to address or work around gaps
Owns the creation, documentation, and training of PM best practices including the creation of reusable process patterns that evolve over time
Ensures solutions are founded in BPM best practices
Technical leadership:
Strong ability to collaborate with implementation consultants, external team members and customers to develop the best solution design
Technical and non-technical mentoring for consultants and analysts
Liaison to development teams to facilitate strong awareness of evolving customer usage and opportunities
Identifies and advocates for critical enhancements (tools, capabilities, etc) to product team
Pre-sales support:
Facilitation of process design workshops with customers
Assess requirements as part of discovery sessions
Lead technical aspects of Proof of Concept efforts
Owns solution definition and related assumptions
Input to pricing and timelines

Qualifications

Skills and Experience
Demonstrated expertise in BPM (certification(s), project work)
Full software development life cycle experience
Ability to produce accurate work effort estimations for self and extended team
Proven ability to learn and develop expertise in the XTRAC product suite
Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to manage customer expectations in cooperation with sales/relationship management and the Project Manager
Workshop Facilitation experience. Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-organizational discussions to surface requirements and design considerations
Customer communication
Expectation management (partnership with Project Manager)
Requirements gathering
Issue discussion and resolution
5+ years software implementation project experience
5+ years in a technology leadership role (IC or people management)
Extensive XTRAC/XTRAC PM or comparable BPM (Appian, IBM Blueworks, Pega, etc.) product and implementation experience is required
