We are looking for an outstanding Audience Development Director to lead our Audience Development team and strategy at UrbanDaddy. This is a key strategic role that focuses on opportunities for growing the UrbanDaddy audience. This role reports into our Chief Operating Officer.
Manage a team of internal and external audience development resources
Drive site traffic through a variety of marketing channels, including content syndication, strategic partnerships, display campaigns, social media platforms, email, SEO and paid search.
Initiate and maintain relationships with external media properties by both monitoring their content and making frequent UrbanDaddy contributions.
Partner across UrbanDaddy team – Product, Editorial, Sales/Agency, Social etc. to deliver business outcomes for website visitors
Works alongside content creators and editors to develop and implement content extensions for social, partner media channels, and co-branded efforts
Guide optimization of content for search engines, manage SEO campaigns and SEO diligence
Continuously identify new traffic-driving opportunities
Utilize the marketing technology landscape — recommend and test new uses of technology to better understand, engage, nurture, and convert audiences.
Use analytics tools to draw insights from data, measure campaign performance, and determine best strategies/tactics for driving improvements to hit ROI goals
Manage budget allocations to achieve marketing goals
From Within Your Arsenal:
At least 5-8 years of experience in digital and/or content marketing preferred
Bachelors Degree in marketing, advertising, data science, information technology, or liberal arts; or the equivalent work experience
Explicit online marketing experience with a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibilities
Expertise in: SEO, SEM, Email
Hands-on experience with analytics/reporting tools and multivariate testing platforms
Excellent quantitative and communication skills
Highly organized with outstanding project management and negotiation skills
Demonstrates a passionate and committed ownership of professional role
Possesses the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with precise attention to detail
Is a demonstrated team player and collaborator in an environment that fosters creativity and a culture of open and honest communication
