Senior Director Finance Project Align Alliances Johnson & Johnson Trenton

The primary responsibilities of this position are leading Project Align to develop and implement a new Gross to Net system for ~$20 billion net sales US business, for providing financial leadership for external Alliances, and for leading and managing the court mandated spillover agreement with Amgen. The Finance Senior Director of Project Align & Alliances will also provide ad-hoc support of financial systems and process improvements for North America and, potentially, the Johnson & Johnson enterprise.
He/she will lead a project to design and implement a technology solution to support Gross to Net accounting, forecasting, and contractual pricing. This will require close coordination with senior cross-functional leadership within Trade, HCS, Finance, Pricing, and other key stakeholders.

The external International Alliance businesses comprise ~$1.5 billion of NTS. He/she will partner closely with internal and external alliance partners to develop and report forecast and actual results. Additionally, he/she will also be responsible for financial compliance to contract terms, inclusive of contract audits. He/she will also lead various ad-hoc projects related to the Alliance businesses and additionally to the International Alliance Businesses, he/she will lead the calculation and negotiations of the Court mandated spillover agreement with Amgen.

He/she will provide ongoing leadership to a team responsible for general systems and process support across the NA Commercial Pharm Finance Division (system optimization and process redesign). This scope includes (but is not limited to):

• Ongoing financial system support and compliance activities including Adobe WF table efficiencies, security roles, and process simplifications
• Partnering with IT and Tax to simplify our existing legal entity and management reporting structures to maximize efficiencies
• Lead Finance staff tasked to develop a plan and implement TM1 Migration and related process updates

He/she will be responsible for the development and supervision of a direct staff of 5 managers and total staff of 10 people.

Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
- A major in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- An MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or other financial certifications are preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of finance business experience is required.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as public accounting, is preferred.
- The abilities to collaborate, communicate, and negotiate are critical to success in this role.
- Candidate must also possess strong analytical, conceptual, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
- Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple tasks and teams simultaneously.
- The ability to effectively take on leadership roles with cross-functional teams is required.
- Experience with Gross to Net Accounting and/or financial systems required.
- Previous people management experiences required

- This position requires up to 20% of travel (mostly domestically).
- This position is located in Titusville, NJ or Horsham, PA (with weekly travel between J&J sites).
