Director Product Management Intel Security Santa Clara

The Director Product Management will be the business owner for the corporate client protection endpoint security portfolio and will lead the product management team in coordination with engineering, marketing, sales, and support to define, design, and deliver world-class enterprise endpoint security solutions.
You will use your superior understanding of the security market to define and communicate product strategy and roadmaps that maximize revenue and ensure customer success in endpoint protection for client, mobile, and embedded solutions.

The Director of Product Management will regularly interact with the executive management team and report success against defined goals. You will also evolve the product strategy and roadmap to drive new growth and innovation. This leader will represent the business in thought leadership in the market and with customers through engagements with customers, analysts, and partners as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

Define and drive the portfolio solution vision/strategy by identifying new market opportunities.
Lead teams to drive portfolio requirements for corporate endpoint protection that monetize innovation and deliver value to customers and positive ROI to the business.
Work cross functionally across teams to devise a comprehensive roadmap to drive larger business goals.
Develop programs with quantifiable objectives to measure results.
Partner closely with all key stakeholders in the Intel Security organization to deliver against MBO's.
Build and manage a world class distributed product management team.

Qualifications

8+ years product management /product ownership/team management experience preferably in endpoint security, enterprise software, and/or SaaS.
In-depth understanding of the enterprise software industry, in particularly security solutions for the enterprise. Prior endpoint security experience a plus.
A robust understanding of customer use cases, deployment architectures, and pain points.
Ability to establish a close working relationship with key customers.
Solid understanding of product management processes, know how to create and prioritize product and solution requirements, perform competitive analysis, feature/function prioritization and assessment.
Must be a very capable communicator and be comfortable working with a distributed and multi-functional organization.
Proven teamwork and people management skills; excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Track record in building world-class product management teams.
Business focus with strong technical background; well-developed analytical skills; excellent project and business planning skills.
Passionate customer advocate who can translate requirements to drive positive Net Promoter Scores and broad solution adoption
BS or equivalent degree in a technical discipline is highly desirable. MBA preferred.
