The Honeywell Operating System (HOS) Gold Organizational Development Director will partner with the HOS Gold Leadership Team to accelerate the deployment of HOS Gold in order to capitalize on strong productivity improvements and drives breakthrough growth performance. This imbedded OD role will lead the cultural and organizational effectiveness/development strategies that are an integral part of HOS Gold. This role will ensure the pace of change across Honeywell is in line with the objectives set forth in HOS Gold. In order to ensure HON-wide alignment, this role will partner closely with SBG OD&L, SBG HOS Gold, SBG HR, and other key functional leaders. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Organizational Development and Learning, Corporate and matrix reports to the Corporate Vice President of HOS Gold.
Lead the design of OD Aspects related to the deployment of HOS Gold including tools (i.e. Baselines, Strategy Deployment) that drive business alignment and support HOS Gold Principles at the Enterprise level
Support HOS Gold assessment process by ensuring the HOS Gold Assessment is complete diagnostic considering business results, process maturity, and culture
Design a systemic approach or solution to establish decision rights and organization alignment between Enterprises and Functions
Partner with HOS Gold Directors on OD aspects of the operating system design, content, metrics and assessments. Serve as subject matter expert on various elements (i.e. Strategy Deployment Process)
Define and deploy a HON-wide HOS Gold change management strategy
Work across SBGs and functions to align efforts (e.g. roles clarity, approach, communication, nomenclature) and ensure a one HON approach, supporting flexibility when it is a business imperative
Partner with HR COEs and Corp Communications to align and support HOS Gold
Serve as Corp POC for OD&L, ensuring consistency of approach across SBGs working closely with SBG OD&L leaders
Maintain a pulse on the organization to foresee obstacles and develop solutions to mitigate
Provide tools and expertise in areas such as change management, organization design, talent management, team development, and cultural change
Diagnose and assess organizational gaps and determine appropriate interventions which could include organizational structure, roles and responsibilities, communication plans, strategy and goal deployment, talent development, standardized processes, and measurement systems
Partner with the HR Director and HOS Gold Leadership Team to identify opportunities for sustainable process improvements

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in OD, Business, Human Resources, or related field
7+ years organization development/effectiveness experience

Additional Qualifications:

Graduate degree in Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field preferred
Experience leading large scale change efforts
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively with an executive level client base
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with HR partners to achieve desired business results
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills; outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong project planning and management skills
Practical and comprehensive knowledge and application of organizational design and development and change management concepts, tools, and methods
Experience providing formal/informal executive coaching and development in all areas of leadership, but particularly in culture creation and redefinition and change management at the individual, team, and organizational level
Ability to integrate and align strategy, people, and activities across functions, processes, and teams. Able to translate vision and strategy into clear actionable goals. Strong project planning and management skills
Familiarity with quality and productivity tools and methodologies; Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing knowledge and/or certification are desirable
