The Intelligence & Security Sector (I&S) is seeking a Manager of Business Development to pursue maritime warfare systems services work. This person will report directly to the Sr. Director of business development who is responsible for expanding our existing business in weapon systems service contracts across DOD. Candidate will have a strong understanding of major weapon systems and service contracts used by the US Navy and will need to bring, develop and maintain strong business relationships within NAVSEA among others.

The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of all the assigned accounts along with mission solution requirements and challenges.

Must have NAVSEA experience
Build, mature and execute comprehensive account plans that deliver desired customer awareness and awards.
Identify and qualify a robust pipeline of focused opportunities that align with the Warfare Solutions business objectives.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to identify customer objectives, priorities, and requirements and to position BAE as an innovative industry leader.
Develop and maintain strong industry relations with large and small businesses with significant presence in the assigned markets
Lead business development initiatives for opportunities <$100M in total value
Build a pipeline of opportunities in excess of $1B
Preferred Skills and Education Exceptional written and oral communication skills with experience presenting at executive levels.
