Director Art Team Sports Under Armour Baltimore

The Art Director-Team Sports will report into the Creative Director Global and oversee our Team Sports creative design teams. Working closely with our Content Development team, and Brand Creative team he/she will oversee and ensure all printed, digital and motion campaigns and projects are facilitated from creative development through final execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Partner with Creative Director and team to develop creative concepts and strategies that align with our brand initiatives.
Strong knowledge of digital/social media trends/landscape and ability to concept with these touch points in mind.
Develop and oversee creative projects, working within budget and scheduling requirements.
Review and approve proofs of printed art and copy materials, digital banners and motions content developed by team members.
Art Direction and approval of final print, digital and motion creative
Help ensure Creative Team's priorities are aligned with Creative Director, Sr. Brand Management and Company goals.
Uphold and continually develop our Team Sports Brand Guidelines.
Formulate basic layout design or presentation approach, and specify material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, illustrations, graphics, motion graphics and all media related to Team Sports creative
Presentation of final artwork, digital or motion content to internal clients

Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage the team of designers responsible for our Team Sports business units including but not limited to USA Football, Global Football, Baseball, Hockey, Lacrosse, Olympics, Tennis, Softball, Golf, Volleyball and Rugby.

A portfolio of relevant work (via URL or PDF)
Ability to handle many tasks at once and deliver high-quality output every time, on time.
Ability to motivate and lead others in the development and execution of creative projects, including ideation and execution.
Work well with tight deadlines and under pressure in a team environment.
Experience in working with celebrity athletes and artists.
Experience leading and developing photo shoot productions.
Experience working with external Creative agencies and production companies.

Working knowledge of the Adobe Design Suite.
