Zynga’s Ville Studio is looking for an exceptional Creative Director to be the driving creative force behind the brand for one of our newest Ville on mobile games! Qualified candidates will have a strong track record shipping successful video or computer games while in a senior creative role, with experience in the social and mobile space a distinguishing advantage.
Work with project owners (General Manager, Director of Product, Executive Producers) to establish a clear creative vision for the game. Help disseminate that vision into the studio and across the company
Regularly review internal game and feature design proposals. Provide feedback on areas for improvement while advocating for strong design ideas
Work with the studio Art Director to help establish the artistic style for our game
Challenge the existing game teams to emphasize excellent user experience, ensuring efficient and effective user flows through our game interfaces
Work closely with the studio’s Product Manager corps to ensure our designs have the appropriate hooks for growth, retention and revenue
Participate in concept creation efforts. Provide feedback on new project pitches that we are considering starting
Mentor designers and help them grow into increasingly larger and influential roles
Play our games constantly and help tune the overall experience
Desired Skills and Experience
Your Experience:
5+ years in a creative director role, preferably including time with a casual social game
Strong understanding of all aspect of game design and development
Exceptional leadership qualities and best-of-breed communication skills
